Adriana Dominguez-Literary Agent
Adriana Domínguez has over 20 years of experience in publishing. Prior to becoming an agent, she was Executive Editor at HarperCollins Children’s Books, where she managed the children’s division of the Rayo imprint, and Children’s Reviews Editor at Críticas magazine, published by Library Journal. Adriana represents children’s fiction for all ages and select children’s and adult nonfiction. She has a long trajectory of publishing underrepresented authors and illustrators and welcomes submissions that offer diverse points of view. Books that she has edited or represented have been awarded the Pura Belpré Medal, the Coretta Scott King Honor and been finalists for the National Book Critics Circle Award and the NAACP Award. Her list includes national and international bestsellers, and titles counted among the “Best of the Year” by the The New York Times, Amazon, Kirkus Reviews, School Library Journal, The New York Public Library, The Chicago Public Library, Parents.com, Salon.com, and many others. Adriana is based in NYC.
I am focusing exclusively on fiction children's writing, and on non-fiction for both children and adults.

Submit the following no later than 4/5/19
- Fiction: submit up to 10- pages of the manuscript
- Nonfiction: Nonfiction Book Proposal including overview, comparative books, author bio and one sample chapter.
- Send as double-spaced. Times New Roman format in a Word file with AD-DOM CONF 5/4/19 in the subject line.
Writers will meet with reviewer during the conference for 15 minutes to discuss their manuscript submissions.
