COVID-19 has exhausted us.  Depression and anxiety rates have soared to astronomical heights. Panic, losses, social distancing, and the threat of nuclear war have pushed many of us to the edge emotionally and financially, which could take years to recover from. Compounded with issues such as global warming, life feels overwhelming too often. It’s hard to focus.  You can spark your individual healing through mindfulness meditation and breath-work, by learning to settle into the stillness and calm awaiting you within. Once you restore that serenity and sharpness of focus, you can allow your ideas and inspiration to flow free at the crossroads of wellness and creativity, to begin the healing process on the page.   Mindfulness meditation is simple to perform can be learned quickly. 

You’ll use it to access your most subtle layers of consciousness, where primal memories and emotions reside. Insights gained from this meditation can be used as seeds for stories and poems to explore on the page, the tales awaiting you deep within. Your most essential truths.  We’ll bypass the ego's defenses to reclaim our stories, to grow and heal as individuals and as a community.

We’ll use our breathing to settle the surface of our mind-streams, to reveal what awaits us in the riverbed of consciousness. What we find goes with us to the page, where we begin to unravel our deepest truths through prose or poetry.
